On Thursday 18th May, we have an important local election here in Enfield Lock to elect one of your ward Councillors. I'm standing to be your Councillor because I care about Enfield Lock, I was raised in Eastern Enfield and went to school here. I am proud of my local area and I want to represent it.
For the past eight years I have worked as a radiographer for the NHS, helping people every day to get the treatment and care they need. I know just how essential local services are to our area.
If elected, I will take every action I can to combat fly tipping, I will work with the police to combat crime, drug abuse & anti-social behaviour.
I will also work to build on the successes of our Labour Council. Over the last seven years — despite Tory cuts — we have delivered quality local services, built social housing for local residents, brought investment, created hundreds of additional primary school places and built great community spaces like the Ordnance Community Hub.
Working together with your Labour Action Team, I will speak up on the issues that matter to you. Here are my pledges to you:
- Work with our local police to tackle anti-social behaviour and crime
- Clamp down on illegal fly-tipping and rubbish dumping
- Campaign for better services at Enfield Lock Station
- Deliver quality local services for Enfield Lock residents
- Always available to you
I will be a campaigning councillor in Enfield Lock and I will be there to address your needs. I will hold regular advice surgeries and always be available to you.
We know that we make a real difference by coming together as a community to solve local problems. I hope that you will support me on Thursday 18th May.
